The mentor-<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mentee<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> relationship will help the student understand how astronomical research works world-wide.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program runs every year, starting in February and closing in December.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Languages:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Preferably the applicants will speak either english or Spanish. Other languages can requested in the application form.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help them find advisers for their thesis<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect them with possible science internship<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: confidentiality agreements and accepting their pairs<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last week of January: Training for mentors and kick off session for all participants<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">February: The pairs start their one-on-one calls<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element
